Living a life
of worship

Romans 12:1

John 4:23-24

Ephesians 5:18-20

Psalm 150

Worshiping God is central to LBBC. We seek together to participate in worship to God through Bible-centered, Spirit-anointed preaching; singing; observance of the ordinances (communion and baptism); corporate and personal prayer; and the giving of our offerings to the work of the Lord. It’s not enough to simply watch others worship or just listen to the songs. We invite everyone to be present and respond, celebrating who God is and what he has done for us in and through Jesus Christ.  As we leave corporate worship services, our worship continues as a lifestyle of responding to God’s revelation of Himself in ways that declare the greatness of who He is.

Living a life

in biblical community

Ephesians 4:1-6

Hebrews 10:24-25

Acts 2:42-47

Genuine biblical community means living in caring relationships that are guided by biblical truth. Community means moving away from living isolated lives and moving towards connecting with one another in authentic fellowship. Some examples of this type of fellowship include: Encouraging one another (Heb.10:25); Teaching, Admonishing, Forgiving one another (Col.3:16); Honoring one another (Rom.12:10); Praying for one another (James 5:13-16). As we connect with one another we will better understand the love of God which allows us to more freely love others.

living a life

of service

Ephesians 2:10

EPHESIANS 4:11-13

Mark 10:45

I Peter 4:10

A life of service is giving ourselves away with no expectation of return.  God has given gifts to every believer in order that we can serve one another.  For this reason, it is our responsibility to discover our God given gifts and begin using them.  We believe that we will influence the world for Christ when, motivated by His great love for us, we extend that love through our own hands and feet in acts of service to others.

ON Mission

Matthew 28:18-20

Acts 1:8

Jesus gave his church a mission to go and make disciples. We are to be witnesses of Christ’s death for our sins, his resurrection, his ascension, and his promise to return. Sharing this good news in the power of the Holy Spirit is the responsibility and privilege of every believer in Jesus Christ. LBBC is committed to sharing this message of hope in our community, across our nation, and around our world.
